Great post on handling tough questions regarding sales.We often encounter these kind questions as a sales professional especially from prospects, but as long as you know how to handle such situation you will not lose a sale.

Poorly handling objections has to be one of the biggest reasons why people don’t get the sale. I was at a presentation one time and there was someone who was rather outspoken who challenged the presenter on numerous things to the point where he became defensive. Well, right there he lost the sale. You must keep your cool in those situations. Deferring to the audience or a manager is a great tip. It takes the ownness off of you and makes things less confrontational.

Thanks for the comment. I agree that someone who is trying to derail your presentation can be a real deal killer.
I have also found that if you can meet with people before the meeting and understand if they might have an issue with your offering, you can sometimes tailor you presentation to avoid some conflicts as well.
